80s Baseball Player of the Day

An ode to baseball's eightiest decade
In honor of Italy reaching the semifinals of Euro 2012, while also sending the English packing, this week is dedicated to Italian American baseball players of the Eighties.
First up, Jay southpaw John Cerutti.
Notching the first Toronto victory at SkyDome back in 1989, Cerutti put together a couple of good seasons Up North.
Following his playing career, he became a baseball analyst for the CBC. Sadly, Cerutti passed away on Oct. 3, 2004 due to natural causes.
